Nelson 50336 Brass Hose Quick Connectors Set, Male and Female
These are brass, they are best. No issues after 10 years. I leave them out all winter, no issues. Well worth the price. I've even grabbed onto the nipple with pliers to tighten (not a bright idea), and they still seat fine.
I just picked up another two sets - they just plug into the existing ones I have, no issues.
The look-alikes are aluminum, colored bronze and will begin to oxidize after 2-3 years.

This is the best sprayer I have ever tried. I own a kennel, with concrete floors, and I clean dog poo up every day. This sprayer seems to increase my water pressure making clean-up very easy.
Gilmour 528 Solid Brass Twist Nozzle
I actually ended up buying another one of these at Lowes. Should've checked there first to avoid the shipping cost through the Amazon.com third party seller. Oh well. I've used the nozzle to wash my cars and to water my grass and plants. The twisting option gives you a variety of stream patterns/strengths for anything that I would need it for. Another solid Gilmour product.
Gilmour Brass Garden Hose Connector With Shut-Off Valve 03V
I have three of these now. The valves are in daily use. I have them permanently attached to hoses and I leave the hoses under pressure.
I removed the plastic torque multipliers that covered the brass female connector. It looks to me to be for people with weaker hand strength (that'll be me someday but not today). People that break these didn't need them and are probably over tightening the connection. My valves work perfectly without them.
I used to use all plastic valves because they are cheap but they have poor impact resistance compared to brass. Hopefully these will outlast me.
I was lucky enough to find some of them (open box) at Amazon's Warehouse Deals for $5 each!

Claber 8583 Koala Indoor Faucet to Garden Hose Connector
I have faucets that have tips in outdated size, and I could not find a fitting faucet adapter. The Claber connector solves this problem because it does not require the tip to be in the exact size or male/female. However, it may still not work with all faucets. First, the faucet should be about 1 inch in width; otherwise, it won't fit. Height is adjustable so it should not be a problem for most faucets. If the part of the faucet where you want to place this connector is rounded, it may not install well or it will leak.
I wish the product had a better description so that people have a better idea before they purchase. On the other had, Amazon.com has a good return policy.

This is the HOSE of HOSES - a strong, kink-free, durable hose that is beautiful as well - I got the blue and berry (purple) colors - the neighbors are jealous!It winds well and is easy to handle. My only complaint is it does not come in 100 foot lengths - Had to buy 2 hoses for the back yard.

I am so happy I discovered this shut off valve! The mechanical advantage is superior to my difficult little former lever. It is well worth the money to make turning the hose on and off the effortless task it should be.
Nelson 50503 High-Pressure Rated Fireman-Foots Style Industrial Spray Nozzle with Large On/Off Lever
I bought two of these two years ago. I use one on my front porch and one on my back deck to water plants and flowers that I can reach with my hose. I don't bother to plant farther out any more because of water restrictions in my state. Be careful, there is a part inside in the middle that is plastic and WILL break. I dropped one of the older ones on the concrete driveway and it's now a door stop at my son's house. This year I went back and bought four more. I still have two hidden away for posterity. (Someone will find them when I am dead and gone and say something about "that crazy lady") I must say that two years ago I paid about $12 for them and this year only about $10 each at a membership club out of Arkansas. They do make a fine mist for delicate seedlings to a knock out the windows kind of power to reach the far away plants. I do use them to reach windows to clean and my son is always using one to wash off his car every time he comes over. It's especially handy in the Spring with all of that yellow pollen. I wash down the deck and the front porch almost daily. I love the handle on it. It is not backwards to me. The packaging says its 350 psi and 205 bars? Whatever that it. I love it. Take it inside in the winter when you turn the water off outside.

Ray Padula RP-SREE 8-Pattern Series R Advanced Functionality Hose Nozzle
I am an avid gardener and have burned through a lot of hose nozzles that typically last a season or less. I just got this one about a week ago, but it seems very well made and the thumb control mechanism does not have a spring, so that seems promising for longevity. The thumb control is a lot easier on your hand than the squeeze-to-water variety. The patterns are also particularly nice compared to some of the others I have used, especially the shower pattern.

Where the nozzle attached to the hose broke off when trying to take it off the hose. I really had high hopes for this product based on it media hype. Oh well. Back to the cheap china made crap. At least I know it only lasts one season.

Orbit 27891 Lawn & Garden 50-Foot Blue Coil Hose & Spray Nozzle
I use this to water my plants in my outdoor porch. I find this to be flimsy (the coils get entangled), and water leakes from the point where the sprinkler screws into the blue pipe consistently. Very annoying. I had bought two but returned one as I was in too much of a rush to find a replacement for the second one. Hope they fix this problem.

I purchased two of these nozzles. Big mistake! Neither one worked after about a week of use. It would stay locked in the "on" position, so the hose would have to be turned off at the faucet. After much frustration, I finally tossed both of them in the trash. 2 @ $12.99 would have paid for a prime rib roast. Save your money!!!

This item was coupled with an indoor hose as being frequebtly bought together. Everyone, I'm sure had the same experience I had....it doesn't go with indoor hose or fawcet!! Nothing seems to go with indoor hose....and this item is for outdoor fawcet.

I bought this hose from Amazon last year and just came back to find another one for our backyard because it worked so well and is such a great deal, why not have two?? I live in the city and this hose is perfect for the plantings in my small front yard. Although I have not tried to stretch it out beyond my yard (which is maybe 15' x 10' MAX), I have found that I can water the tree in the "tree box" across the sidewalk right from my yard (~ 6-7 ft away) using the "jet" setting on the nozzle (and, of course, being careful to look out for pedestrians). I thought the multiple settings would be overkill, but I have found myself using almost all of them depending on the delicacy of the particular plant. Very useful, as is the automatic stop, although I suppose that is standard with any nozzle. It is small enough that when I am done watering, I can just leave it on the spigot and tuck it under my honeysuckle (we brought the hose inside for the winter). The only complaint I have is that I wish that it were green or brown so it would fade in a little better under the honeysuckle, but that is a minor concern. Definitely not enough of a reason to spend a lot more on similar models I have found in green (particularly since they don't have the nifty nozzle!).

If you have arthritis (or stiffness in your joints) then this sprayer is for you. You click on one button and it stays on so you don't have to hold in the trigger. I've had mine for a year and the spray function went bad because I left it out for the winter. I called the company (L. R. Nelson Corporation) and they said they would ship me a replacement at no charge after I faxed them my receipt (save your receipt). What a great company. Update: I've now had the replacement one for about 2 months and it works as well as my original one. UNLIKE OTHER REVIEWERS, MY TWO HAVE NEVER LEAKED.

I know, I know, it's a ridiculous price to pay for a hose. But this is the iPhone of water spray. Very few presents I have given my my designy/handy husband have made him happier. It's as if someone sat down and really thought, what would make a hose really good? Let's do that. We don't have a lot of space, and the retractable thing is just a marvel. The winder guide moves back and forth so the hose winds evenly. The whole unit swivels so it fits almost anywhere. You can just take it off and bring it inside for the winter. All the spray attachments are a snap to use. We have a lot of windows which nobody ever wanted to clean...until we got the hose. I can see myself giving my husband the many cool accessories and doodads that come with it for the next several birthdays and christmases.

I bought a flat garden hose almost 7 or 8 years ago. Was the best hose I ever had to work with. When the fittings started leaking, the holder was cracked and breaking from me dropping it a few times, it was time to find a new one. I had hoped to find the same one I bought before, but couldn't find it online or in the stores. I decided to try this one. Like other reviews noted, you need to get the snap on adapters, I picked them up from a local True Value hardware store to save the shipping fees.
Another reviewer mentioned that the pressure was poor, and that is very true. Watering takes much longer than it did and I really don't need the sprinkler part on this gadget, it makes it a little more cumbersome to carry.
My last hose didn't have a pressure problem, I can only figure from looking at this that they've split the hose into two channels instead of just letting it be a flat hose. I don't get it, and I don't like it. Why there aren't more flat hoses that reel in easy are a mystery.
It's a flat easy roll up hose, and that's what I wanted, it looks a lot better than those large roll up hoses and takes up no space. It's not worth what you pay for, but there obviously isn't much of a demand for it, or I wouldn't have to settle for this. So this is a settled for, but not happy with the price, and it will do.
Yard Butler HBE-6 Garden Hose Bib Extender
purchased a Yard Butler HBE-6 Garden Hose Bib Extender for mother-in-law and unfortunately delayed too long in setting it up for her. long story short, it leaks badly at hose connection rendering the purpose of this tool useless. i bought an additional gasket to place behind the flange (that had arrived with a split in the metal); no dice. unfortunately this was discovered too late to return the item without penalty_ bad luck. If Amazon were more customer oriented we would see unconditional guarantees on products unseen/ untested.

This Hose is much easier to handle for me than a straight hose. I have to water the garden every day since my husband is at work. I'm not as young as I used to be or as strong. This dose a lot of the work for me by retracting on it's own.

We're very happy with this wand. It saves bending over to water under vegetable plants. It only has one spray feature but that is a nice full spray so it does the job for which we bought it. The brass valve for turning the water on and off is another great feature.
Claber Kiros Portable Garden Hose Reel 8921
I loved the design of this product and I was looking forward to having a better hose reel.....but I was very dessapointed when it arrived in the mail. It is so small, it cannot accomodate a regular US garden hose. Maybe in Italy where it was made is OK, but not by American standards. Loved the design, very dessapointed of the small size of it.
