Mundial 271-8 8" Industrial True Left Hand Bent Trimmers
i LOVE THESE SISSORS. THEY WORK GREAT FOR ME, THE LEFTY, BUT GOSH, THEY SURELY ARE DIFFICULT TO KEEP FROM RUSTING. PERHAPS I BOUGHT THE WRONG SISSORS FOR THE WRONG JOB. I USE THEM AROUND THE HOUSE, GARAGE, ETC., AND PERHAPS WHEN THEY GET DAMP, I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WIPE THEM OFF. MY SUGGESION....FIND NON-RUST LEFTY SISSORS IF YOU ARE NOT USING THEM FOR CUTTING FABRIC! MY FAULTFiskars 7073 Big Grip Trowel
a must have if your age is affecting your grip--very light and easy to useTolman Tool Stake-Puller with Handle #S-P
Just like a couple other reviewers, I got this to use at Burning Man. I'm pulling 3/4 inch concrete stakes with it. I haven't actually used it at the playa yet, but I have tested it at home in regular dirt (which is really a tougher job), and this worked great to remove the stakes. It would be nice if the notch that the stake fits in was a bit smaller, but I noticed that it I place the base of the puller at an angle it works best.
The handle-pipe of the puller is hollow, so you can insert a longer pipe inside it for even more mechanical advantage. I certainly haven't found this to be necessary, but I think it's cool that the option is available.OXO Good Grips Stainless-Steel Gardening Cultivator 16078
I bought this a little bit ago. I finally used it this past week to plant 2 new shrubs in very hard and dry soil filled with chunks of clay, rocks, etc. It's great for breaking up chunks of clay and dirt when you're putting the dirt back into the hole.
The tool has a good grip, good solid weight to it, and made planting much easier. It's well-made and should last a long time. When I was done and hung it up in my shed, I thought to myself "I'm really glad that I bought this." I think you will feel the same way.
I bought mine here on Amazon, but also saw it and other OXO gardening tools at the huge green house where I bought the shrubs. They carry high quality plants and it was another vote of confidence that I bought a good tool after seeing it there.Fiskars 7062 Softouch Polished Aluminum Trowel
I love this trowel. It feels good in your hand, and the quality is the best.
I would buy this againBrook & Hunter Combo-DY-3D Premium 3-Piece Combo Kit With Stainless Steel Alloy Polished Shovel, Fork & Spade With Hand Crafted Red Oak Handles
B&H have two versions of these tools, the "edge" tools are smaller, but these are the "digging" versions which are bigger and more normal. This is exactly what I was looking for, and now that I own them I can report they are of good quality.1.75'' Heavy Duty Garden Auger Planting Tool to Drill Soil and Earth
Purchased this to help dig post holes where a gas powered post hole machine could not be use because of rocks & the holes that we needed to dig where on the side of a hill that was approx a 45 degree pitch. Used this to loosen up the soil and that remove it with a conventional hand type post hole tool. This worked very well & cut our digging time down drastically.KIDaS GARDEN TOOL SET by Toysmith
My daughter ran right outside to play with these (even though it was raining!). My only complaint is that the handle on the spade could have been angled a little. As it is, it is perfectly straight, meaning that when she's trying to scoop up dirt in it her hands are scraping the ground. Hasn't slowed her down yet though.Bond 5939 3 Piece Hand Tool Kit With Lopper, Pruner And Trowel
initially at looking at the tools i thought they would not cut or last very long; i was wrong on both counts. they are very sharp and cut very well. i have pruned about ten large tree's and done some clearing with no problems.Yard Butler TNT-4 Garden Twist & Tiller
I wish I had ordered this tiller years ago. I have always had trouble digging up old sod prior to re-sodding. This tiller is just the tool that you need for this job in addition to tilling garden soil. I am impressed with the quality of the steel in the product and I like the foot plate which is handy for pushing the tiller into the soil. I would recommend this to anyone.Magna Cart Ideal Hand Truck
This is incredibly good quality at this price. It is simple to open and close, and seems very durable. I'm very pleased with this purchase.Radius Garden Natural Radius Grip Trowel 100
This is a great garden tool, but I have to admit that I prefer the Radius transplanter tool to this Radius trowel. I own both tools, but the transplanter is the one that I reach for most often. The difference between the two tools is that the transplanter is longer and narrower than the trowel. It all boils down to personal preference. If I didn't have the transplanter tool, I'd be using my Radius trowel more often for sure.
Both the trowel and the transplanter are extremely sturdy. They won't fall apart, and they won't rust. Having used my Radius garden tools for over a year now, I know they will last for the rest of my gardening years. They hold up well to constant use, even in my soil which is mostly clay. In the past, I've used cheaper trowels that bend over time, or the handle falls off, or it rusts.
I spend a lot of time in my flower gardens, and I needed a good tool that was comfortable to use. That's the primary reason I wanted to try the Radius tools in the first place. I used to get sore spots in the palm of my hand if I did much digging with other hand trowels. The curved handles on the Radius tools are ideal. My days of painful palms are over, now that I have these tools. They're just a pleasure to use.
I've used many different trowels over the years, but this is the best one I've ever used. Yes, it's more money than some other garden hand tools, but because it won't rust or fall apart, I think it's worth the extra money. And that curved handle makes gardening easier than it was before because it gives me the leverage to dig much easier than I could with other trowels. Like I said, I prefer the transplanter tool, but this trowel is still a great garden tool.Ames True Temper 1983800 Best Hand Weeder
It's simple & really helps when you pick weeds. Small-so out of the way too.Radius Garden 102 Natural Radius Grip Weeder
The tip broke the very first time I used it. About 1 1/2 inches broke off the end of the tool in the dirt. Tool still works, but the lightweight metal is too lightweight for any serious weeding. Very disappointed!Radius Garden 102 Natural Radius Grip Weeder

I can understand why some people may not like the weight of this product but for me it's perfect. The steardy construction assures me that this item isn't going to break anytime soon. The design works very well in both hands though I think it's specifically right handed. It's a solid tool that gets the job done.
36-Inch Pinch Style Pick-up Tools Trash Grabber with Aluminum Handle
I tried the Trash Grabber a few times. It works okay. It does what it is supposed to do. It feels a little awkward sometimes. After the first few grabs, my hand gets sore. It takes extra time to pick up some items, like very small pieces of paper, and one can only pick up one thing at a time. It's good for larger pieces of paper. It takes time to manuever to place the trash in your bag because it is long, but a long pick is needed so one doesn't have to bend over. It requires a slight bend.Hoover Vacuum Cleaner Turbine Powered Hand Tool
Mine had broken awhile back and I missed it. Had to spend some time to find the right one.
It's great!Joshua Roth 1516 Japanese Hori Hori Garden Landscaping Digging Tool With Stainless Steel Blade & Sheath
if you have the cinch mole or gopher traps, you really need the hori-hori knife. it is well made of quality materials and holds up beautifully with vigorous digging. We have 13 notches on our hori-hori knife already!Unger 92134 36-Inch Nifty Nabber Pick-Up Tool with Aluminum Handle
I bought this to pick up branches from my riding mower. Tired of stopping the mower to move or pick up branches. While the Unger Nifty is functional it did not serve that purpose very well since the pinchers BEND with heavy branches - smaller branches were no problem. Still, this did not resolve my issue.
I now use it to walk around the yard to pick up smaller sticks and leaf droppings - that works well.
The pincher is very good however and you can easily pick up an acorn.
Overall, it is very functional and worth the purchase. price.Fiskars 7978 Composite Trowel
I have bought this trowel for years. It is light weight and has a nice point to it. I use it gardnering and also going gold panning. After quite a bit of use it will wear down some what but still useful.
I have never broken one!The Rumford Gardener AMW5000 16-Piece Tool Set with Molded Case
It's OK. Superfluous hose extensions and plastic doodads abound. Otherwise cheap alternative to buying tools individually.
