Mexican Miniature Watermelon 15 Seeds -Melothria scabra
Can't really dock the seeds too much because I'm probably living in the wrong area for this plant. I doubt Utah has the humidity this plant requires, I was able to get one sprout indoors and one outside, but both quickly died once they broke ground. I will be sending my remaining seeds to family in Texas to see how they do closer to native soil and conditions. I've never had problems with Hirts seeds before, and these plants need humidity which my area has none of.

I just tried this out, and it seemed to work well. I planted some garlic seeds using the pea plate, and some cilantro seed using the beet plate. The ground hadn't been worked for several weeks, but was still fairly soft. The planter went right through it and seemed to be picking up the seed pretty well. I was afraid that it wouldn't work very well with a small amount of seed, but I put a 2 oz packet of seed in and it picked it up just fine. It appears to be well made and I hope to be able to use it for many years. Be sure you put the correct plate on before you put the seed in the hopper, though!

AeroGarden 0003-00Z Salad Greens Seed Kit
We must have gotten old stock. It does have the sponge material instead of peat moss, it did not have the liquid nutrients and the tablets were falling apart, and now after 4-5 weeks, I have one very healthy basil and one very small thyme, and a small mint. So 3 out of 7 actually sprouted/grew. So now I get to call the company and ask for a replacement :(

I called and they are sending a replacement. They are strongly recommending distilled water so there will be no trace minerals ... will update on success/failure when it arrives.

in the mailing your seed will germinate The only "4" they forgot to send the Salad Blend seeds in my May 31 order. I would have given a "5" to the folks.

I'm a little disappointed that this costs so much for what you get, but I'll buy again just so that I can have organic lettuce whenever I want. I read on that you can make your own pods with whatever seeds you crave. I might try that when I buy a 2nd aerogarden.

Purple Passion Spinach 100 Seeds
I planted these to use as a topical ingredient in appetizers for parties. While they have been very successful at sprouting and have been growing steadily for about three weeks, they are not quite as purple as the photo. They are somewhere between green and purple. Very neat though and would buy again.

I had 100% germination on trying 25 seeds, and I do have allot for another location.
These plants are fast growing and has strong root systems, in just 3 days they penetrated the seed starting kit!
Organic Golden Purslane - 500 Seeds - Veggie
My first try with the seeds had very poor germination. I soaked the seeds and followed all of the directions. The second batch I just threw on some dirt and added water and they actually did much better. I would upgrade my review to a 4 star, but got a weird, aggressive e-mail from the company to change my review for a refund.

Heavenly Blue Morning Glory 150 Seeds - UNTREATED/FRESH
The Heavenly Blue came prepackaged in a pictured envelope like most seeds one purchases at a nursery. Sprouting was not too bad but certainly not all seeds sprouted. The growth has been less than vigorous on those plants that have survived. I have seen two blossoms and neither is the pure blue as illustrated in the photograph. This may be due to our cooler climate. Perhaps they will improve as they mature. If they mature.
